Production time

Standard production is about 2 weeks from the moment you approve your mockup (faster turnaround available with express shipping). Production does not begin until approval, so the clock starts when you say yes, not when you first enquire.

Drumsticks are consumable items which are expected to wear and ultimately to fail in normal use, and no representation is made that any stick supplied is unbreakable or carries a breakage guarantee. Sticks are specified by measured diameter, length, taper length, tip shape, wood species and finish as stated on the quotation; model designations such as 5A, 5B or 7A are historic manufacturer names for which no dimensional standard exists and are not accepted as a specification. Wood is a natural material: variation in colour, grain figure and mass between sticks and between production runs is normal, and pairs are matched by weight and by pitch within stated tolerances rather than made identical. Species characteristics are stated before order, including that maple is of lower density and shorter service life than hickory, and that oak is of higher density and transmits a greater proportion of impact energy to the player. Laser engraving removes material from the shaft and may slightly raise the grain along the mark; this is a characteristic of the process. Where sticks are to be played, engraving is placed outside the primary grip area by default. Nylon tips are mechanically seated components; seat depth and fit are specified, and separation of a tip is treated as a manufacturing matter only where the seat specification has not been met. Weighted practice sticks are supplied for use on practice pads only and must not be used on drum heads; goods are musical instrument components and are not toys, are not intended for children, and are not supplied as protective, sporting or striking implements of any other kind. We do not supply drums, hardware, drum heads, cymbals, practice pads, cases, bags, brushes, rods or mallets.

Express turnaround

If you are working to an opening, a wedding or an event date, tell us the date when you request the quote. Express turnaround is available on most products and we will confirm in writing whether your date is achievable before you pay.

Delivery

Orders ship from the United States by ground carrier, with transit typically running 2–5 business days depending on distance. You receive tracking as soon as the shipment leaves. Expedited air service is available on request.

Addresses and split shipments

Double-check your shipping address before approval — carriers charge to redirect a shipment in transit and we pass that cost through at cost. We can split one order across multiple locations; just tell us the breakdown when you order.

Lost or damaged shipments

If tracking stalls or a carton arrives damaged, contact us with photos and we will open the carrier claim and reprint or refund the affected portion. You do not have to deal with the carrier yourself.
